GUIDE FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS

What to put in a photographer’s link in bio

Someone arriving from Instagram or a referral wants to see relevant images quickly and understand how to work with you. Your link in bio should be a light front door to the work, not another endless gallery.

01

The essential destinations

Start with the kind of client you want. A wedding photographer and a commercial photographer can use the same basic structure while changing the order and featured work.

Selected portfolio

Not the whole archive: lead with work that represents what you want to sell now.

Book or request a quote

Your existing form, calendar or contact page.

Main services

For example weddings, portraits, commercial, interiors or product.

Prints or shop

Only when this is a real part of the business.

Instagram

Useful as a current feed, but it should not replace the portfolio.

Direct contact

A professional email or another easy contact route.

02

A simple order that works

Portfolio and enquiry should sit near the top. Secondary destinations come later. During a campaign or mini-session launch, move that temporary destination to the top without changing the public URL.

03

What to avoid

Avoid ten nearly identical galleries, three competing contact methods and abandoned social profiles. The page should help visitors choose, not hand the choice problem back to them.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to upload photos to Omy.bio?

No. The lightweight pattern is to use Omy.bio as the front door and link to the galleries or portfolio where the images already live.

Does booking need to be built in?

No. Link the form, calendar or enquiry system you already use.
